Sayloe is a beta, Apple Silicon-only Mac app built for macOS 14 or later. Select text, double-tap Command, and see a translation nearby. It can read the translation back in your language so you can compare it with what you meant before you replace or copy it. Replacement depends on the app and input field, so copying and pasting is the fallback when replacement isn't available.

It offers two free engines: Apple's system translation (requires macOS 15+ and downloaded language models) and Google's standard cloud translation, which sends selected text for processing. Google Translation LLM and Gemini are listed as upcoming and are not available in this beta. There are no paid plans or subscriptions in the current beta, and no account is needed to translate. The app supports 20 target languages, with an English interface.
