Fax for Agents is a fax API, a hosted MCP server with 15 tools and SDKs for Python and TypeScript, built so AI agents can send and receive faxes.

  • Every send is quoted first. The quote binds the document, the destination and the amount for ten minutes.
  • A send can wait for a human approval, or run under a delegated policy an administrator wrote outside any prompt.
  • Each job ends with the carrier's delivery evidence. A fax counts as delivered only when that evidence exists.
  • Received faxes land in an inbox with OCR and schema extraction. Text read from a fax is marked as data, never as instructions.

Prices: $0.039 per page sent, $0.019 per page received, $2 per number per month, $19 per month for a workspace. Sandbox keys are free.
